Air systems
BG 88 Commissioning Responsibilities Framework, by Matt Lowry, published by BSRIA in January 2025, defines air systems as: ‘….the same meaning as in CIBSE Code A and BSRIA BG 49. Air systems are systems which use air in ductwork as a means of delivering heating, cooling or ventilation. This includes specialist systems such as those found in laboratories, hospitals and car parks and life safety systems such as staircase pressurisation and smoke control systems.'
